The Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity - 6th September 2026

Dear all

  During the Rector’s Sabbatical we are blessed by the help being received from local clergy. Today we welcome Rita Ball and Patrick Whitworth who will be taking  the services at Chieveley and Boxford respectively. 

As we move through the Trinity season, the focus of our readings and liturgy turn from Christ and his deeds on Earth to our response, and so we focus on how we can live out our calling to be followers of Jesus - his disciples. We listen to what God is saying to us through his Holy Spirit, and discover afresh what it is to belong to God's Church and how that belonging works out in our daily lives. Welcome to worship.

There is information for the coming week below  as well as general church notices and prayer intentions and I would encourage you to take a look at all that is on offer. 

This Sunday there will be six services  in the benefice:

     8.30am - Holy Communion, Beedon

     9.30am - Eucharist, Chieveley

     9.30am - Eucharist, Peasemore

  11.00am - Pet Service, West Ilsley

  11.00am - Eucharist, Boxford

     6.00pm - Evensong, Farnborough

Next Sunday - 13th September -  the services will be:

     8.30am - Holy Communion, West Ilsley

     9.30am - Eucharist, Winterbourne

  11.00am - Family Service, Boxford

  11.00am - Eucharist, Stockcross

     6.00pm - Evensong, Chieveley

Every Wednesday there is a service of Holy Communion in St Mary's, Chieveley at 10.30am which is followed by coffee.
