The Eighth Sunday after Trinity - 26th July 2026

Dear all

During the Rector’s Sabbatical we are blessed by the help being received from local clergy. Today we welcome Matt Clark who will be taking the service at Stockcross. As we move through the Trinity season, the focus of our readings and liturgy turn from Christ and his deeds on Earth to our response, and so we focus on how we can live out our calling to be followers of Jesus - his disciples. We listen to what God is saying to us through his Holy Spirit, and discover afresh what it is to belong to God's Church and how that belonging works out in our daily lives. Welcome to worship.

There is information for the coming week below  as well as general church notices and prayer intentions and I would encourage you to take a look at all that is on offer. 

This Sunday there will be five services  in the benefice:

    8.30am - Holy Communion, Farnborough

    9.30am - Eucharist, Beedon

    9.30am - Family Service, Winterbourne

 11.00am - Morning Prayer, Stockcross

    6.00pm - Evensong, Peasemore

Next Sunday - 2nd August -  the services will be:

    8.30am - Holy Communion, Beedon

    9.30am - Eucharist, Chieveley

    9.30am - Eucharist, Peasemore

 11.00am - Eucharist, Boxford

    6.00pm - Evensong, Farnborough

Every Wednesday there is a service of Holy Communion in St Mary's, Chieveley at 10.30am which is followed by coffee.
