Bible Sunday - 25th October 2026

Dear all

During the Rector’s Sabbatical we are blessed by the help being received from local clergy. Today we welcome William McDowell who will be taking  the service at Beedon.

The Trinity season can seem interminable, but it isn’t without nuance. It begins in bright sunshine of summer and ends as autumn closes. In church we have now concluded our celebrations of Harvest, and my thanks to all of you who helped decorate our churches and brought gifts for distribution. We now begin to move toward a more solemn time. This period in the year still brings us the joys of faith, but keeps us mindful of the sacrifices that are required. As we move through the Church’s year I hope and pray that we accept the joy and the challenge to listen to what God is saying to us, rediscover what it is to belong to God's Church; and are challenged to welcome all whom God is calling.

There is information for the coming week below  as well as general church notices and prayer intentions and I would encourage you to take a look at all that is on offer.
