Pentecost - 28th May 2023

Dear all

Today we celebrate Pentecost - the birthday of the church. We celebrate the fulfilment of the promise that Jesus does not leave us alone, but sends the Holy Spirit, the comforter, to be with us always. It is the Spirit that makes us brothers and sisters of Jesus and so brothers and sisters of one another. This is the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in his church, so everything now becomes possible!

Onsite Worship:

Services this week are:

    8.30am - Holy Communion, Farnborough

    9.30am - Eucharist, Beedon

    9.30am - Family Service, Winterbourne

 11.00am - Morning Prayer, Boxford

 11.00am - Eucharist, Stockcross

    6.00pm - Evensong, Peasemore

Also today, a fundraising sale is taking place in Peasemore - see below for details.

Next Sunday - 4th June 

There will be six onsite services:

Churches in the benefice open for private prayer are:

Beedon – by arrangement with the Rector

Boxford - Sundays (10am-4pm)

Chieveley – Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (9.30am to 3pm), Wednesdays (12 to 3pm) during term time

Farnborough – Open

Peasemore - Open every day

West Ilsley - Saturdays & Sundays  (9.30am-6pm)
